For Sean Carter, the feeling was so nice, why not do it twice?
A year after capturing the 113-pound Suffolk County title, the North Babylon senior was crowned the 120-pound champion at the Suffolk Division I wresting championship at Suffolk Community College in Brentwood on Feb. 10.
Spotlighting the strong academic work ethic of the school, a total of 25 current West Islip High School students were named AP Scholars by the College Board. This recognition is bestowed for excellence in college-level academic achievement on Advanced Placement courses and exams.
